All that is visual is then just the keypad. This means that should someone enter the property they cannot damage the main system, thus enabling the alarm system to complete is required commands. The key pad uses a 6 digit passcode, not a 4 digit passcode like the main control panel. This means that user's of the system will only be able to arm and disarm the alarm system by the key pad, meaning that you do not need to give out the main alarm control panels passcode to all users. The key pad uses blue back lite buttons that can be seen at night for ease of use. It takes 3 x AAA batteries which are supplied, which when low on power, the key pad will inform you of this fact.
